Joe Gruca is an accomplished sales leader with a distinguished track record of driving explosive growth for both private equity-backed and publicly traded technology companies. He possesses a deep specialty in MarTech and Accounting technologies, having honed his skills at industry giants, Salesforce, Hootsuite, and Computer Associates. There, he gained invaluable experience in scaling sales operations for large, complex global organizations via direct and indirect go-to-market motions. Joe has also served as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) for multiple PE-backed firms, consistently exceeding revenue targets and building high-performing sales teams.
- Held CRO roles at FinQuery (formerly LeaseQuery) and Message Gears respectively. Drove business growth through strategic planning and partnerships and cross-functional team leadership.
- Built a repeatable model for indirect sales and strategic partnerships, including signing the largest co-sell partnership agreement in company history with Microsoft as SVP, Strategic Alliances and Channels at Kyriba.
- As VP, Global Partners and Americas Sales at Hootsuite, Joe created global strategic partnership agreements with Adobe and SAP, driving partner-sourced revenues of over $9M and achieving 50% YoY growth in ISV partner relationships.
- Led a global team to achieve over $140M in new contract sales, driving a significant change in the business model to enhance go-to-market strategies as VP, Global Alliances and Channels at Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Also responsible for global expansion by opening markets in APAC and EMEA.
- As President and CEO of HireIQ Solutions, Joe co-founded and led this SaaS company through its startup phase, securing venture funding and achieving first-year bookings in excess of $1M. The company successfully exited via an acquisition from Verint.
