Your privacy is important to us. Hunt Club, Inc. and its subsidiaries and affiliates (“Hunt Club,” “we,” or “us”), understand your concerns with regard to how information about you is used and shared, and we appreciate your trust that we will use and share information about you carefully and sensibly. What information do we collect, and how do we collect it? We and our third-party service providers (“Contractors”) may collect certain information from or about you in connection with your use of, or your submissions to or via, the Site (together, “Collected Information”), including, but not limited to, name, email address, and any information that may be publically available through your social media platforms such as LinkedIn and Facebook. In addition, we may retain the content of, and metadata regarding, any correspondence you may have with us or our representatives, regardless of the mode of communication by which such correspondence was made. This information helps us to improve the Site and the online content, materials, and services that we make available on the Site, and to more effectively and efficiently respond to both current and future inquiries.

In order to gain access to certain portions of the services on the Site, Hunt Club may require you to register to create an account. To register, you will be asked to enter your email address and select a password. If you so choose, you may upload your LinkedIn contacts whereby you will be directed to the LinkedIn website and you may be asked to verify your LinkedIn password. We do not collect or store your LinkedIn password. Once you register, you and your LinkedIn contacts (if uploaded to our Site) become part of our candidate database and are stored on our servers. If you refer a candidate and earn a commission, you will be contacted by email and may be asked to provide us with a current address where we can mail the commission check.


As part of your participation on the Site, you may post user generated content in certain areas of the Site.  You acknowledge that posting user generated content on the Site is at your own risk.  While the Site may provide features that permit you to limit access to some of your information on the Site, you acknowledge that these security measures are limited and could be circumvented.  Hunt Club has no control over the actions of other users of the Site with whom you choose to communicate and share your Collected Information with.  Accordingly, user generated content posted by you might be accessible to unauthorized persons.  Hunt Club is not responsible for any actions by third parties to circumvent the privacy and security mechanisms contained in the Site.  You further acknowledge that, even after user generated content might be removed from the Site, copies of such user generated content could still be viewable through the Site if other users of the Site have copied and stored your user generated content or if individuals have access to archived or cached versions of the pages before the user generated content was removed.

As with many other websites, the web servers used to operate the Site may collect certain data pertaining to you, including data regarding the equipment and communications method that you use to access the Site, and your activities on our Site. For security reasons and to confirm the integrity of the Site, we and our Contractors may combine components of this data with Collected Information, which may identify you. Unless otherwise described in this Privacy Policy, such identifying information (which is deemed “Collected Information” hereunder) will be used solely for our business purposes.

In addition, the Collected Information may reveal such things as the Internet protocol (“IP”) address assigned to your computer, specific pages that you access on the Site or prior to or after visiting the Site, and the length of time you spend at the Site. We may collect your information through our use of Google Analytics to help analyze how users use the Site. We may use “pixel tags,” also known as “web beacons,” which are small graphic files that allow us to monitor the use of our websites. A pixel tag is a type of technology placed on a website or within the body of an email for the purpose of tracking activity on websites, or when emails are opened or accessed, and is often used in combination with cookies. A pixel tag can collect information such as the IP (Internet Protocol) address of the computer that downloaded the page on which the tag appears; the URL of the page on which the pixel tag appears; the time the page containing the pixel tag was viewed; the type of browser that fetched the pixel tag; and the identification number of any cookie on the computer previously placed by that server.

How will we use the information you provide to us? We may use the information we obtain about you to register, manage and maintain your account on the Site, and provide products and services you request. We may also use the Collected Information to inform you of relevant job postings and matches to your LinkedIn contacts, message you with offers to reach out to your LinkedIn contacts should they be a good fit for the job posting, and provide you with notices or communications about your use of the Site. In addition to the uses described above, we and our Contractors may use Collected Information to analyze and improve the content, materials, and services that we make available on the Site, to notify you of changes made to the Site, to evaluate user needs and improve the Site content, to send you promotional materials, and support our continuing efforts to offer users the information and services we think they want most. If you contact us for support or assistance, we may use Collected Information to provide service and support to you. We may also use Collected Information and the associated statistical data we and our Contractors generate to deliver targeted advertisements to you and other visitors of our Site.

We may also contact you to confirm registration information and regarding changes to Hunt Club’s Terms & Conditions and this Privacy Policy. As part of your registration on the Site, you shall receive a user profile. Your profile information, as well as your name and email may be displayed to other people on the Site, when you allow us to contact one of your LinkedIn contacts for example.

Hunt Club may send you, and third parties identified by you, service-related announcements from time to time through the general operation of the Site, such as to indicate that you have received a message from another user or to alert you of an event for which you have asked to receive alerts.

Hunt Club may use information you submit to the Site in a non-identifying fashion (unless otherwise permitted by you) in order to provide aggregate statistics regarding user membership and service hours completed from the Site and to provide personalized service opportunities to you.

We and our Contractors may store Collected Information for as long as needed for the purposes indicated in this Privacy Policy, which may be indefinitely. Hunt Club reserves the right to disclose, without your prior permission, any Collected Information if we have a good faith belief that such action is necessary to (a) protect and defend the rights, property or safety of Hunt Club, employees, other users of the Site, or the public; (b) enforce the Terms & Conditions; (c) if required by a legally valid request from a competent governmental authority; (d) respond to claims that any content violates the right of third-parties; or (e) satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request.

Except for the above, we will not share personal information with companies, organizations or individuals outside of the Company unless we have your affirmative (and informed) consent to do so. We do not collect or share any sensitive personal information. Sensitive personal information is a particular category of personal information relating to racial or ethnic origins, political or religious beliefs or sexuality.

With whom do we share the information we collect? We may share Collected Information with certain of our Contractors (e.g., our web hosting provider) in order to provide the Site to you. We may also share Collected Information with some of our third-party service provider partners (e.g. social media sites such as LinkedIn) in furthering our mission or delivering the content, materials, and services available on or through the Site to you and any complimentary services to the services provided on or through the Site. We and our Contractors may also produce reports on Site traffic, usage patterns, and similar data generated from Collected Information, and we may share these reports with our third-party service provider partners and others.

Access to Your Information and Choices If you have questions about personal information we have about you or need to update your information, you can do so in your User Profile, or contact us at privacy@huntclub.com. If you would like to request to review, correct, restrict or delete personal information that you have previously provided to us, object to the processing of personal information, or if you would like to request to receive an electronic copy of your personal information for purposes of transmitting it to another company (to the extent this right to data portability is provided to you by applicable law), you can contact us at privacy@huntclub.com. We will respond to your request in accordance with the applicable law that governs the collection, use and deletion of your data and information. The requested deletion will be as comprehensive as possible but is always subject to issues outside of our control, including applicable regulations and laws, your actions and the actions of third parties. You can opt-out of receiving marketing and promotional e-mails from us by using the opt-out or unsubscribe feature contained in the e-mails. How Do We Protect Information Collected About You? We have put in place certain security measures to safeguard Collected Information, but the storage and communication of Collected Information can never be completely secure. Hence, we do not guarantee that information that you transmit or otherwise supply to us, or any communications conducted on or through the Site, is or will be totally secure. If you become aware of any breach of Site security or this Privacy Policy, please notify us immediately. To further protect yourself, you should safeguard your account user name and password and not share the information with anyone. You should also sign off your account and close your browser window when you have finished your visit to our Site. Note that we will never ask you for your Hunt Club user name and password over email.

When providing information to Hunt Club or its Contractors, DO NOT put sensitive information such as your social security number, national identification number, tax identification number, or any other local, state or regional identification number in any communication or on your resume. Use your best judgment about whether and what information to provide. If restricted or prohibited by the local laws in the jurisdiction where you reside, do not provide us or otherwise include in your resume or profile sensitive information that reveals racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade-union membership, health information, genetic or biometric data, the commission of criminal offenses or proceedings or unlawful or objectionable conduct and any associated penalties. Be cautious when dealing with contacts outside of your own country, and never provide personal information or financial information such as credit card or bank numbers over the phone. Please report any abuse or fraud to us immediately.

Interactive Areas We may provide areas within the Site that allow users to post commentary and other materials. If we do, these interactive areas, such as discussion forums, are intended to enhance the user experience and build a healthy community around the products and services available through the Site. Hunt Club is not liable for information posted in interactive areas of the Site. You acknowledge that, should you participate in such interactive areas, the information you voluntarily post about yourself and third parties in such areas might be accessed, collected and used by third parties other than Hunt Club or our Contractors.

Access To and Correction of Information Most of the Collected Information about you on the Site is directly accessible by you through the Site’s features and you may modify or edit such information at any time by logging into your account and using the Site’s account editing functions.  Please note that information you remove through such means may still remain in backup copies for a reasonable period of time.

You acknowledge and are aware that personally identifiable information that you have shared with other users of the Site through one of the communication channels on the Site generally cannot be removed by you.

If you would like to review any of the other personally identifiable information we have retained about you in our database, please send us an e-mail request for this information at privacy@huntclub.com. To help us address your request, please specify which information you wish to review. Once you have reviewed this information, at your request we will correct personally identifiable information about you that you state is erroneous. You should be aware, however, that it is not always possible to completely remove or modify information in our databases and servers although we will always make reasonable efforts to do so upon your request.

Location of this Site This Site is hosted and operated in the United States. However, we and our Contractors may, in our effort to provide the Site, store Collected Information in the United States, or we may transfer it to, and store it within, other countries.

Those who access or use the Site from jurisdictions outside the United States do so at their own choice and risk and are solely responsible for compliance with local law. If you are not a resident of the United States, you acknowledge and agree that we may collect and use your personal information outside your home jurisdiction, and that we may store your personal information in the United States or elsewhere.

International Privacy Practices Company’s websites, including websites directed to residents in countries and jurisdictions outside of the United States, are operated and managed on servers located and operated within the United States. Third Party Service Providers Service opportunities appearing on the Site may be delivered to users by Hunt Club or one of our third-party service provider partners. Our partners may set cookies or web beacons or use other technologies that allow the partner’s server to recognize your computer each time they send you a service opportunity or update. In this way, third-party servers may compile information about where you, or others who are using your computer, saw their service opportunities and determine which opportunities are clicked on. This information allows a service provider network to deliver targeted opportunities that they believe will be of most interest to you. This Privacy Policy covers the use of cookies and tracking technologies by Hunt Club only and does not cover the use of cookies or other tracking technologies by any third-party service providers. Our Site does not respond to web browser “do not track” signals.

Our Site may contain links to other websites. These websites may be operated by companies other than Hunt Club and may have their own privacy notices which you should review if you visit those sites. We are not responsible for the content of any sites not owned by Hunt Club, any use of those sites, or those sites’ privacy practices.

Privacy of Children We understand that young people need special safeguards and privacy protection. We realize that they may not understand all the provisions of our policy or be able to make thoughtful decisions about the choices that are made available to our adult users. We strongly urge all parents to participate in their children’s exploration of the Internet and any online services, and to teach their children about protecting their personal information while online.

We prohibit registration by children under the age of 13 for the Site and no one under 13 may provide any personally identifiable information to Hunt Club or on the Site. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personally identifiable information from children under 13.  If you are under 13, please do not attempt to register on the Website or send any information about yourself to Hunt Club.  You agree to abide by these restrictions, and not to help anyone avoid these restrictions.  If Hunt Club learns that we have collected personally identifiable information from a child under the age of 13 without parental consent verification, we will delete the information as soon as possible.  If you believe that we have any personally identifiable information from or about a child under the age of 13, please contact us at privacy@huntclub.com.

California Privacy Rights California “Shine the Light” law permits its residents to request and receive information about our disclosure of certain categories of Collected Information to other companies for their use in direct marketing. If you area California resident and a user of the Site, you can request a copy of this information from Hunt Club. To obtain this information, please send an email message to privacy@huntclub.com with “Request for California Privacy Information” on the subject line and in the body of your message. We will provide the requested information to you at your e-mail address in response. Please be aware that not all information sharing is covered by the “Shine the Light” requirements and only information on covered sharing will be included in our response.

Changes to Our Privacy Policy Our Privacy Policy may change from time to time. We will not reduce your rights under this Privacy Policy without your consent in accordance with applicable law.
